When will Hallmark pick up these books? This is another excellent tale by the author that makes me feel better for reading it. Her stories belong in a Hallmark movie and "Under A Texas Sky" would be perfect for the screen. Excellent characters and super plot!
Under A Texas Sky is a light-hearted romance with a little mystery and a good moral compass. I related to Abby's real life struggle of showing her Christian faith in every aspect of her life. The story is full of wonderful things in life; family, love and loyalty, but managed to show some of the insecurities and trials that come even when surrounded by the wonderful things. Under A Texas Sky is another inspiring and enjoyable story from Veda Boyd Jones.
Veda Boyd Jones doesn’t disappoint. This one is full of quick wit and a mystery as well, and there’s always a theme like this one of not hiding your light.
I love the movie angle and reading about a part of the country I've never visited. The romance thrown in never hurts. Great book.
A Veda Boyd Jones’ romance is always a pleasure to read. You not only learn about a different occupation, movies and tourist bureau in this one, but there’s always a good life lesson. Good book.
I am a real follower of books by Veda Boyd Jones. Once again she delivers with an excellent read. Her characters are so real. She has included an interesting mystery which keeps the reader involved!
Rather staid Abby has no idea what's in store for her when she visits a movie set near her home of Abilene. She soon finds her life turned upside down as she becomes involved in the movie in a way she could never have imagined. Add a bit of Abilene history and an apparent ghost from the past into the mix, and the reader has a novel that will keep him engaged to the very end of this most enjoyable romance.
